Breastfeeding Awareness Seminar

A community-focused health seminar was held at Al-Dawaa Pharmacy 326, highlighting the importance of breastfeeding, its long-term benefits, and practical guidance for mothers and families. The session included an educational talk by a certified specialist, an open Q&A for mothers and caregivers, and distribution of awareness materials. It enhanced understanding of breastfeeding benefits, increased confidence among new mothers, and strengthened community engagement at Pharmacy 326.

Blood Donation Campaign

Al-Dawaa Medical Services Company (DMSCO) organized a blood donation campaign in collaboration with the Ministry of Health’s Central Blood Bank, reinforcing the company’s commitment to social responsibility. The campaign saw strong participation from DMSCO employees, who contributed their time and donated blood to support patients in need. Through this initiative, DMSCO emphasized the importance of community engagement and giving back, highlighting the company’s dedication to promoting health and well-being across the community.

Medical Devices Support – Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center

Through the Medical Devices Support Initiative for the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center, essential medical devices were provided in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources & Social Development to support individuals with disabilities, enhancing mobility and daily quality of life. The initiative focused on delivering effective rehabilitation outcomes, offering specialized equipment tailored to each individual’s needs, and strengthening the center’s capacity to provide high-quality care. This support enabled beneficiaries to access the devices they require, improved comfort and mobility, and enhanced overall rehabilitation efficiency, reinforcing the center’s role in providing comprehensive care.

Wheelchair Donation for Hajj 2025

As part of social responsibility initiatives, 164 medical wheelchairs were donated in collaboration with Waqf Al-Shifaa and Zamzam Association to support healthcare services and facilitate mobility for elderly and disabled pilgrims during Hajj 2025. The wheelchairs were equally distributed, with 82 provided to Zamzam Association in Makkah and 82 to Waqf Al-Shifaa in Madinah, ensuring that support reached those who needed it most. This initiative enhanced the pilgrims’ experience, eased physical strain for the elderly and those with special needs, and reflects DMSCO’s strong commitment to community support during one of the most significant religious occasions.

World No Tobacco Day – Employee Awareness

In line with its broader commitment to employee well-being, DMSCO launched an internal awareness initiative in collaboration with Naqa Anti-Smoking Association, marking World No Tobacco Day and focusing on the risks of smoking and the importance of quitting such habit. The initiative offered carbon monoxide testing, health consultations, and interactive educational sessions, creating an engaging and informative experience for employees. It contributed to raising health awareness and encouraged more informed, healthier lifestyle choices.

Support for “Records Day” – Dhahran Ahliyya Schools

DMSCO contributed to “Records Day” at Dhahran Ahliyya Schools, in partnership with the Mothers’ Committee, supporting the funding of meaningful educational projects. As part of the initiative, five translated educational books were published in collaboration with The Educational Book House, helping expand access to valuable learning resources for students. This effort reflects DMSCO’s belief in creating impact through strong community partnerships, and the company was honored to receive a certificate of appreciation in recognition of its contribution.

Supporting Samah Medical Association

As part of its ongoing CSR efforts, DMSCO supported Samah Medical Association by providing specialized upper and lower limb braces, helping individuals regain mobility and live more independently. With a contribution valued at SAR 492,852, the initiative reflects DMSCO’s continued commitment to advancing impactful healthcare solutions within the community. This support has contributed to improved mobility and rehabilitation outcomes, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for beneficiaries.

World Childhood Cancer Day Activation – SANAD Association

In collaboration with Sanad Children’s Cancer Support Association, DMSCO marked World Childhood Cancer Day by illuminating its headquarters tower with the campaign logo, raising awareness and expressing solidarity with children battling cancer. This activation helped increase public visibility, strengthen community support for affected children, and reinforce DMSCO’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Al-Hizam Al-Dhahabi Development Association

DMSCO supported the Al-Hizam Al-Dhahabi Development Association in empowering the local community of Al-Hizam Al-Dhahabi. The initiative focused on raising social awareness, strengthening connections among residents, and addressing community needs. Through this support, community engagement increased, local awareness grew, and neighborhood development and social cohesion were strengthened. These efforts reflect DMSCO’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and promoting sustainable development at the neighborhood level.

Capacity Building Program for Charitable Associations

As part of its commitment to strengthening the nonprofit sector, Al-Dawaa Medical Services Company delivered a capacity-building program titled “Effective Communication and Presentation Skills” in collaboration with its internal Training Department. The program aimed to help nonprofit professionals enhance their communication and presentation abilities, improving the overall effectiveness of charitable organizations. It also supported sustainable capacity development and fostered stronger collaboration between the private sector and nonprofit entities.

Founding Membership – Corporate Volunteering Network

Al-Dawaa Medical Services Company has joined as a founding member of the Cooperative Volunteering Network, a milestone marked during the launch ceremony attended by partners from government entities and the private sector. This membership reflects the company’s commitment to structured volunteerism, strengthening its social impact, and empowering volunteers through initiatives that enhance their role in serving the community. Through this partnership, Al-Dawaa aims to expand its social contributions by delivering awareness programs that reflect its core values and reinforce its responsibility toward society.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month Activation

Breast Cancer Awareness Month was observed by illuminating the company tower in pink and adding the campaign logo to all corporate email signatures, demonstrating solidarity with patients and their families. The initiative aimed to promote early detection, raise public awareness, and show support for individuals affected by breast cancer. It achieved significant community visibility and effectively extended awareness both internally and externally.

World Alzheimer’s Month Support

As part of the World Alzheimer’s Month Support Initiative, financial support was provided to the Alzheimer’s Association to supply medical devices that improve the quality of care for Alzheimer’s patients. The initiative aimed to enhance patient care, strengthen partnerships with nonprofit healthcare organizations, and reinforce the commitment to supporting vulnerable patient groups.

Bar Mashariq Association – Elderly Support Initiative

Essential health supplies were provided to underserved elderly individuals in remote villages, supporting their daily medical needs and overall quality of life. The initiative focused on improving health and stability, assisting families in remote regions, and promoting dignity and well-being among vulnerable groups. This support directly enhanced daily living conditions and strengthened community outreach in these underserved areas.

Diabetes Awareness Initiative “سكرك بأمان”

The large-scale “Safe with Your Sugar” activation was held on World Diabetes Day, providing community glucose screenings, health consultations, and interactive educational activities. The initiative aimed to promote early detection of diabetes, raise awareness on obesity prevention, and offer practical health guidance, aligning with Vision 2030’s Quality of Life objectives. The activation attracted a significant number of visitors, enhanced public knowledge on diabetes prevention, and featured active engagement from government partners supporting this health initiative.

Dhahran Long-Term Care Hospital Support

As part of efforts to support patients requiring ongoing care, essential medical supplies were provided to enhance daily comfort and the quality of care at Dhahran Long-Term Care Hospital. The initiative focused on supporting vulnerable patients, improving hospital readiness and service quality, and strengthening healthcare partnerships. This support contributed to better patient well-being and a more effective care environment. The initiative was also recognized with a certificate of appreciation for its contribution.

Rakaib Program – Walking & Running Association Support

Al-Dawaa Medical Services Company (DMSCO) was recognized by the Al-Ahsa Walking and Running Association for its support of the “Rakaib” Program. The recognition took place during the Sponsors Appreciation Ceremony at the historic Ibrahim Palace in Al-Ahsa, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr Al Saud, Governor of Al-Ahsa, and in the presence of Mr. Muath bin Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, Deputy Governor of Al-Ahsa. The initiative supports the promotion of healthier, more active communities by encouraging people to engage in walking and running activities. This recognition reflects DMSCO’s ongoing commitment to supporting programs that bring communities together and foster healthier lifestyles.

School Health Clinic Support Initiative

As part of the School Health Clinic Support Initiative, essential medical equipment was provided to establish a fully equipped clinic, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students and staff. The initiative aimed to deliver immediate primary care, promote preventive health practices, and enhance emergency preparedness within schools. This effort contributed to a safer school environment, reduced health-related disruptions, and improved overall student well-being. The initiative was also recognized with a certificate of appreciation for the support provided.

Supporting Children with Disabilities – 200 Therapy Sessions

As part of the Supporting Children with Disabilities initiative, 200 therapy sessions were sponsored to meet the health and educational needs of children with disabilities. The program focused on enhancing physical and cognitive development through specialized therapy. The initiative helped reduce financial burdens on families, expanded access for children on waiting lists, and supported specialized therapy units. These sessions contributed to improved mobility and rehabilitation outcomes, while promoting greater inclusion in daily life and education for participating children.

Establishment of a Pediatric Cancer Educational Classroom

A dedicated educational classroom was established to support pediatric cancer patients, providing a nurturing environment that enables them to continue their education while promoting emotional well-being throughout their treatment journey. The initiative was honored by Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, in recognition of its humanitarian and educational impact. This acknowledgment highlights the value of supporting children with cancer, reinforces the importance of cross-sector collaboration, and reflects DMSCO’s continued leadership in community-focused initiatives.

Volunteering Visit to Pediatric Cancer Patients

In collaboration with Sanad Children’s Cancer Support Association, DMSCO organized two volunteer visits to pediatric cancer patients at King Fahad Specialist Hospital, offering emotional support and helping uplift the spirits of young patients. A total of ten employees participated across both visits, each receiving a certified volunteering certificate from Sanad Association in recognition of their contribution. These visits reinforced values of compassion and community engagement, while creating a positive and meaningful emotional impact on children during their treatment journey.

Supporting Education – Healthcare Discount Initiative

As part of its commitment to supporting education and community well-being, DMSCO provided 3,000 healthcare discount vouchers, offering 40% off essential services to students, staff, and their families. The initiative aimed to improve access to healthcare while contributing to healthier learning environments. In partnership with Al Yamamah University and Maimouna Bint Al-Harith School, the vouchers were distributed through structured and official channels to ensure they reached those who would benefit most. The initiative helped ease financial pressure on beneficiaries, enhanced access to healthcare services, and contributed to overall community health and well-being.

Life Cervical Campaign – Cervical Cancer Awareness

In collaboration with the Obstetrics & Gynecology Club and King Fahd University Hospital, DMSCO led an awareness campaign focused on cervical cancer and the importance of early detection. The initiative highlighted the value of regular screening, increased awareness around HPV and vaccination, and addressed common misconceptions surrounding cervical cancer. The campaign achieved strong engagement, connecting with over 700 visitors, while contributing to increased awareness and encouraging proactive screening. It also reached a wider audience through its digital presence. Through this effort, DMSCO continues to support the development of a more informed and healthier community.
